In 2018-19, I was a tutor for the Goldsmiths Writing and Talking Saturday Club, for 12-16 year olds. Over 30 weeks, we covered performance poetry, storytelling and social change, zine-making, and podcasts. We produced a an installation at the Saturday Club exhibition which invited the audience to come inside and read poems and stories hung from a canopy!

In 2020 and 2021, I ran holiday clubs with Lily Ash Sakula – as we couldn’t meet in person we produced a zine-style workbook with activities and tips, met online, and produced a zine of the young people’s work at the end of the project. The sessions were on the theme of the future – encouraging the young people to imagine the South London they want to see, and bring it alive through stories.
